Experience: Andrea worked for Department of Human Services for 10 years, including as a Supervisor, Permanency caseworker, and Protective Services caseworker. Andrea was also a Healthy Start home visitor and a high school Dropout Prevention Coordinator prior to her time at DHS. She was also a Support State Trainer for a private computer software company. Andrea received her LCSW in 2013, and joined the PSU Child Welfare Partnership in summer 2014.

Teaching/Training Areas: Andrea trains in the areas of Protective Services, Permanency work, Neglect, Ethics, and Vicarious Trauma for new Child Welfare caseworkers. She also trains various topics for Certifiers and Adoption workers and Social Service Assistants including Visitation, Mandatory Reporting, Abuse Allegations in Foster Homes, Transitions, and Placement Matching.
