Career and Community Studies Certificate

The Career and Community Studies certificate provides an inclusive college experience for students with intellectual disabilities (ID). Students working toward the Career and Community Studies certificate have access to the same services, programs, and courses as all other PSU students. These students participate in a 4-year, individualized college experience, including academic coursework, employment, and campus life. The program leads to the Career and Community Studies certificate, integrated employment, and self-determination.

The Career and Community Studies certificate is a four-year, pre-baccalaureate, non-degree, certificate.

The Career and Community Studies certificate is being developed by Think College Inclusion Oregon-PSU (TCIO-PSU), a model development project funded by a U.S. Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education, Model Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary Program for Students with Intellectual Disabilities (TPSID), grant #P407A 150052.
