Capital Advisory Committee and Subcommittees

The Capital Advisory Committee (CAC) is charged with advising the President on the physical development of the campus including new construction and major renovations. The CAC sets capital priorities, helps determine physical campus growth, and ensures that space is well managed and utilized efficiently. 

The primary responsibilities of the committee include:

  • Biennial review of PSU's major capital projects, including potential new buildings and renovations
  • Creating criteria for ranking major capital projects and ranking the projects
  • Developing a recommendation to the President's Cabinet regarding the capital project priorities to be submitted for state funding
  • Monitoring ongoing capital projects and serving as a conduit for information sharing about capital projects
  • Approving policies and procedures regarding space standards, allocation, planning and utilization
  • Reviewing and monitoring ongoing planning efforts that impact the physical development of the campus

The CAC is composed of representatives from across the institution, including ASPSU, faculty senate, several deans and unit heads. The CAC is chaired by the VP for Finance and Administration. Please review the complete list of current CAC members.
