PSU's online Business Blockchain Certificate is rich with in-depth analytical and practical skill development. In the first for-credit certificate of its kind in the country, you’ll experience an interdisciplinary approach to blockchain education, including hands-on practice with distributed ledger technology that creates and executes transactions and smart contracts.

The School of Business is collaborating with Oregon's blockchain leaders to offer a series of courses packed with use cases, guest speakers, and industry mentors. You’ll move beyond cryptocurrency concepts to explore other areas of business, including supply chain, finance, healthcare, and real estate—all critical business functions where blockchain skills are in high demand.

Who Can Pursue the Business Blockchain Certificate?

  • The Business Blockchain Certificate can be paired with any PSU undergraduate degree. Undergraduate certificate programs are an additional sequence of coursework designed to further customize your degree based on your interests or career goals. Certificate programs are led by faculty who specialize in the certificate industry area, offering you additional access to resources and connections to industry. Contact your academic advisor to learn more about adding a certificate to your degree. The Business Blockchain Certificate is open to all PSU degrees. PSU upper-division undergraduate students may also take individual courses that are included in the blockchain certificate curriculum.
  • Community members who do not hold a bachelor's degree may take the courses as a non-degree student.
  • At the graduate level, the Business Blockchain Certificate can be paired with any PSU graduate degree or earned as a stand-alone certificate by professionals with a bachelor’s degree or higher. PSU graduate students may also take individual courses that are included in the certificate curriculum.

*The bootcamp course is a series of video modules and assessments designed to prepare students with introductory knowledge on database technology and distributed ledger technology. The course will be available at no cost to all students pursuing the Business Blockchain Graduate Certificate
