Xiaohan Zhang has a BA degree (Chinese vocal music) and an MA degree (music education) from Soochow University. She has experience with teaching flute performance in China University of Mining and Technology and teaching music classes in primary and secondary schools. She served as assistant to the choir conductor of Soochow University Faculty Chorus in her first and second postgraduate years. She also assisted in the teaching of musicals when she was on an exchange program at Taipei Music Training Center. Enthusiastic and patient, she is highly popular among her students.
She is the award-winner of various national- and provincial-level vocal competitions. Among the awards are the second prize of the German Schumann International Vocal Competition (China, 2016), the “Honorable Mention” of 14th American Classical Singer International Vocal Competition (China, 2017), and the second prize of the International Vocal Competition at 2018 Festival Puccini (China).
