Alternative Spring Break Info Session

Student Leaders for Service is hard at work planning this year's Alternative Spring Break Program. Every spring break, they take several trips to work with non-profits in Oregon, California, and this year Texas to focus on various social issues such as hunger, homelessness, sustainability, food access, education, and affordable housing. Applications will open soon and the deadline is December 31st, 2012.

NOTE: there will be one session on 11/27 at 12:30, and one on 11/30 at 2:00 in Smith M108 (the new student lounge) 


Applications are now being accepted for the upcoming 2013 Alternative Spring Break trips! These four seperate trips will address:
  • Hunger and homelessness in San Francisco, California
  • Sustainable farming methods in Northern California
  • Food and health equity disparities and solutions in Eastern Oregon
  • Building affordable housing with Habitat for Humanity in Houston, Texas.
