An overview of regular bike maintenace with an emphasis on shifting and braking systems. Attending this workshop will help you feel more comfortable using this space as a member, and be a good foundation for our more advanced courses

Get ready for Winter bike commuting, or casual rides, with tips and tricks regarding gear, fender installs/maintenance, and potential route changes in the dark days

FLAT FIX FRIDAYS

Learn how to remove your wheels, identify the cause of the flat, and reseat your tire with confidence!

ADVANCED RIDER SERIES

DISC BRAKES

This will be an in depth look at hub brake systems. In this course you will learn how to tighten your lever feel, adjust pad distances, and troubleshoot squeaky brakes. (Rim brakes are welcome too.)

SHIFTING

In depth look into cable tension, barrel adjusters, limit screws, drive train, and cables and housing. We will also talk about the difference between quick fixes and long term repairs for smooth and safe shifting.

In this workshop we will talk about wheel construction, truing maintenance, and spoke replacements. You will walk away with a confidence and appreciation of the wheels that roll you around.
