Recently, three graduates of the School of Art + Design's MFA program were featured on Oregon Public Broadcasting's Oregon Art Beat.

Crystal Schenk (2007) and Shelby Davis (2008) met during their time as graduate students at PSU and are now married. In an episode of Oregon Art Beat that aired February 23, 2017, they talk about working collaboratively on projects like their Division Street public art installation, This All Happened More or Less.

Ka’ila Farrell-Smith (2014), a member of the Klamath/Modoc tribe, was featured in an episode that aired February 9, 2017, in which she talks about her Native American heritage as inspiration for her artistic investigations.
