Chris Dennis

Instructor. Christopher Dennis has been developing, delivering and evaluating solutions since 1988. He has an unusual breadth and depth of experience, working at the intersection of people, process, and technology.

Chris’s insights into innovations and the people they serve were developed during six years on staff at MIT. Product and process development, validating problem-solving approaches, and project management are a regular part of his work. Chris has experience in fields as varied as utility operations, music publishing, food manufacturing, and quantum electronics. This broad exposure makes Chris acutely aware that surfacing and implementing new ideas is fundamentally important to business outcomes.

As a collaborator, Chris uses uncommon skill to solve the challenges of communication, leadership, and teamwork. He has rapidly integrated himself into the culture of dozens of for-profits, non-profits and municipalities. Having traveled to more than thirty-five countries, he is adept at addressing the barriers that arise when working across boundaries.

As a teacher, Chris brings insight without loss of detail or subtlety. Experienced with traditional classrooms and virtual ones, with workplace learners and degree-seeking college students, he constructs learning time that helps make immediate progress and builds minds effective at solving longer-term problems.
