Laura Hughes, Assistant Professor and Interim Area Coordinator for the School of Art + Design's MFA in Art Practice program, has a large-scale art installation at the Portland International Airport. The work, titled Imager, can be seen on Concourse A (post-security). The project uses colored Acrylic mirrors and Diachroic film to frame the shifting light conditions within the terminal and is activated by the movement of those passing by. The installation has been on view for almost a year and will close on October 21, 2018.
