Student Fellows January Social Hour: Environmental Sustainability

The Institute for Sustainable Solutions Student Fellows Social Hour is a great opportunity to mingle amongst your peers and sustainability staff/faculty. At this social hour, we will delve into scientific topics including genetic engineering (i.e. GMOs), environmental sustainability, and climate change.” Special guest Brianne Suldovsky, Faculty Fellow and an Assistant Professor of Science, Environment, and Risk Communication, will lead the discussion amidst appetizers and networking.

About Dr.Suldovsky
Dr. Suldovsky’s research focuses on understanding how science and the environment are covered by the media, how science influences policy, and how scientists communicate with the public. Brianne is particularly interested in ways to combine social science with biophysical data. Most of her work focuses on climate change, bioengineering, and environmental sustainability.
