Information Session: Master of Architecture and Graduate Certificates

Portland State University School of Architecture offers two options for master's level study in architecture, together with a graduate certificate in public interest design, a graduate certificate in urban design, and a pre-professional undergraduate degree in architecture:

  • Master of Architecture, Two-year
  • Master of Architecture, Three-year Track
  • Graduate Certificate in Public Interest Design
  • Graduate Certificate in Urban Design
  • BA or BS in Architecture

Learn about our graduate programs in architecture at our information sessions. You'll meet our teaching faculty and director, talk with current students, learn about the curriculum and our teaching philosophy, discover leadership and design-build opportunities for students, tour our studios and lab facilities, and find out more about the application process for our programs.

Our highly respected faculty members bring decades of professional experience and expertise to our studios, where students develop their creative identity while nurturing their civic responsibility, critical judgment, and ability to translate ideas into plausible architectural propositions. Our faculty are leaders in architectural disciplines including architectural theory and history, sustainable design, green building science and energy efficient building technology, public interest design, urbanism, urban design, and professional practice.
