Disability as Diversity Month

Organized by the Office of Global Diversity and Inclusion, Disability Resource Center, and the Accessibility Committee, PSU’s inaugural Disability as Diversity Month is taking place in October 2018. October is recognized nationwide as National Disability Employment Awareness Month, a time to acknowledge and celebrate disability as an element of diversity. We want to thank our campus partners who are hosting some of the events throughout the month, including the Queer Resource Center (QRC) and Transportation Research and Education Center (TREC).

We invite the campus community to attend the scheduled educational sessions and social gatherings. There will be many opportunities to learn about campus resources, share newfound knowledge, and engage in meaningful conversations to further strengthen our campus commitment to interrupting ableism while promoting access, inclusion and equity.
