Set aside time for yourself and your writing by joining a facilitated writing retreat with OAI. This virtual three-hour retreat provides faculty the opportunity to focus on their writing projects while gaining inspiration and support from fellow academic authors. With guidance from Dannelle Stevens, OAI's Faculty in Residence for Academic Writing, participants will begin by setting realistic goals and warm up with a focused freewrite. Danelle will facilitate group discussion, small group breakouts, and dedicated writing sessions throughout the afternoon.

During these retreat, participants will learn practical, focused writing strategies to enhance their writing practice, make meaningful progress on their writing project during three focused writing sessions, and benefit from the fellowship and support of a community of like-minded scholars.

This writing retreat is offered three times throughout the spring term: April 1st, May 6th, and June 3rd. Please choose the date that works best for you!

Wherever you are on this continuum of designing, developing, implementing, or completing your SoTL project, this group is for you!  We will meet for two hours every other week in Spring term to discuss and develop your project, share resources, and move forward to begin to “kick your project out the door” as a conference presentation or publication.  This group includes $500.00 stipend for participation.   Remote Office of Academic Innovation Office of Academic Innovation America/Los_Angeles public
