Kari Smit is the office coordinator for the Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Portland State University. Kari earned a BA in Literature/Creative Writing from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a MS in Writing/Book Publishing from Portland State University, where she focused on issues of feminist publishing and bookselling in the digital age.
