Join the Portland Women’s Crisis Line and the PSU Women’s Resource Center to create a space to stand witness to the impact of sexual violence in our communities and celebrate our ongoing work to end all sexual violence.
This year our focus is military sexual violence, and we are pleased to welcome Prof. Rebecca Hannagan as our keynote speaker. Our program includes a speakout, resource fair, entertainment and candle light/paper lantern vigil.
This event will be held primarily in SMSU Parkway North, which is wheelchair accessible. The vigil portion will be outside in the Walk of the Heroines, and the march and bike routes will be off campus. We will not have ASL interpretation. One multi stall, wheelchair accessible gender inclusive restroom on the 2nd and 4th floors (accessible by elevator). Room is lit fluorescently, and amplified sound will be used. Attendants are asked to not wear strong fragrances.
Street parking is free after 7pm but limited. PSU parking structures are free after 7pm. Located on the green and yellow max lines (3 blocks away). Multiple bus lines.
