Closure Notice

FRIDAY JULY 2nd, 2015: Due to the heat advisory the WRC will be closing from 2:00-5:00pm. If you need an interpersonal violence (IPV) advocate please call the Queer Resource Center and they will put you in touch with an advocate. 503-725-9742

The WRC will be closed on Friday, July 3rd.

Students experiencing any safety concerns while the WRC is closed please contact:

Interpersonal Violence (IPV) Program

The Interpersonal Violence Program at the WRC works to promote healthy relationships in the campus community and to improve PSU's coordinated campus response to, and prevention of, sexual and relationship violence.

There are many ways students can get involved with the WRC. From Action Teams, volunteering with at our front desk, practicum projects, event planning, WRC Leadership team, and many more!

Non-traditional students often experience additional barriers and obstacles when returning to college and completing their degree. The Empowerment Program provides resources, skills, information, and support to get past these challenges.

The WRC hosts many events throughout the year. In November we have Social Sustainability Month and in April there is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

How to Find Us

The Women's Resource Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00-5:00pm. For any concerns or questions outside of these hours, please contact the Dean of Student Life office at 503-725-4422. We are located in the basement of the Montgomery Housing Building. This building is behind the Simon Benson Building in the South Park Blocks, across from the Vue apartments. Our main entrance is located in the Montgomery Courtyard.

Our accessible entrance is through the main door to the Montgomery Building, located in the Montgomery Courtyard. This door is accessed through the Montgomery Courtyard. The accessible path to get to the door is on the South side of the Simon Benson Building in the PSU South Park Blocks.

Enter through the main door to the Montgomery Building and take the elevator down to the basement. Once in the basement follow the sign forward and turn left. Follow the hallway down and take another left. This places you at the back of our department by our bathroom and kitchen. Enter through the back door. If you have question or concerns please call us at 503-725-5672. There is also a callbox by the main door to the Montgomery Building that calls our front desk. We are happy to assist folks.
