Swapna Mukhopadhyay, Curriculum and Instruction Education faculty, presented a workshop titled "Who Gets Killed? Understanding Mathematics of Gun Violence in Youth," based on a math lesson he taught at an alternative high school, at the Teachers for Social Justice Conference in San Francisco, Oct. 9.
