To commemorate Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Portland Women's Crisis Line and Portland State University's Women's Resource Center are organizing a rally Thursday night against sexual violence in all forms.
The rally is a "Bike Back the Night/Take Back the Night" event in the South Park Blocks. It starts at 6 p.m.
The news release says the event "provides a space that allows survivors to empower themselves in the healing process while inviting allies to educate themselves on the impact of sexual violence in their community in order to inspire responsibility in all."
