A gift to stream 32 films about Persian culture from Roshan Cultural Heritage Institute to Portland State University

All students and faculty from Portland State University can watch 32 outstanding films that offer entertainment and insights on Persian Culture for free, thanks to a grant from Roshan Cultural Heritage Institute.

The 32 films include award winning narrative feature films directed by famous directors such as Majid Majidi (The Color of Paradise and Baran) and Dariush Mehrjui (Mum’s Guest, Shirak, The Mix, Mr. Gullible, The Lodgers, Sara and The Lady).  Each film is introduced by a scholar who places the film within its proper cultural and historical context.
