I CAME TO TESTIFY
Tuesday, November 12th from 12:00-1:30pm
I Came to Testify is the moving story of how a group of 16 women who had been imprisoned and raped by Serb-led forces in the Bosnian town of Foca broke history’s great silence – and stepped forward to take the witness stand in an international court of law. Their remarkable courage resulted in a triumphant verdict that led to new international laws about sexual violence in war.

They are standing up for a generation of Colombians who have been terrorized and forcibly displaced as a deliberate strategy of war.
Friday, November 22nd from 3:30-5:00pm

Sexual Assault Education Theater Performances
Monday, November 25th 5:30-7:00pm in WRC Lounge
We all have opportunities to stop sexual violence before it occurs. We can keep an eye out for potentially dangerous situations and step in when we see something happening. However, it can be hard to know exactly what to do or say. Come to a performance of the Sexual Assault Education Theater, where students will perform a play they’ve written about sexual assault on campus. The performance is based on the Theater of the Oppressed Open Forum model, in which audience members are invited to stop and shift the action by joining the play, thereby practicing strategies for facing challenging situations and “rehearsing for the future.”
Let's Talk - Drop in Counseling
Tuesdays from 2:00-3:00pm in the WRC Lounge

Speaking with a counselor can provide insight, solutions, and information about other resources. Let’s Talk consultations are free, confidential and do not require an appointment.
