Go to the National Women's Law Center It's Your Education: How Title IX Protections Can Help You page to access a downloadable booklet. Title IX is the federal civil rights law that prohibits sex discrimination in education. The booklet covers the ins and outs of Title IX, providing information about the protections in place as well as means to identify discriminatory practices. It serves as a guide to addressing such issues as athletics, sexual harassment, pregnancy and parenting, career and technical education, single-sex education, and how to stand up for your education.
