Herrera Finds Own Path to Student Speaker Role

2013 NLO Alumna Yesenia Herrera was recently awarded the Community College Presidents' Award at Washington State University-Vancouver where she'll attend in the fall. National Equal Pay Leader Lilly Ledbetter Talks to Sold Out Room: 2014 ASD Speaker Series

Our Abigail Scott Duniway Speaker Series with Lilly Ledbetter was a wonderful success! Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici delivered closing remarks at the Ledbetter keynote address on Thursday, April 24 at the Lincoln Recital Hall. Lilly Ledbetter shared her inspiring story of being at the center of the historic discrimination case that inspired the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act. Archive Empowers Women:

Women from the PSU Center for Women’s Leadership program and a who’s who of Oregon’s female politicians gathered to mark recent victories and launch the Center’s new digital archive of personal political documents of some of Oregon’s most high-powered women leaders. Celebrating Oregon’s Women: a century after the vote, still more to do:

The Center for Women’s Leadership, along with other women’s organizations, participated in the 2012 Rose Festival’s Grand Floral Parade. These women’s organizations will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Oregon women getting the right to vote by marching the same parade route that the suffragists marched in 1912.
