The goal of the Urban Transfer Research Network is to increase the community college transfer and success rates of students whose objective is to attain the Bachelor's degree. By the end of the project, the network will include urban regions from across the U.S. in order to have a broad impact on Bachelor's degree attainment rates by underrepresented students.
Portland State University is working with its co-principal investigator at Arizona State University - East College at the Polytechnic Campus. Ht. Hood Community College, Portland Community College, Chemeketa Community College, Clackamas Community College, Hillsborough Community College, St. Petersburg Community College, and Maricopa Community Colleges also participate.
