Redesign of UNST Clusters

The redesign of University Studies Clusters has been underway for the past two years following guidelines developed by the University Studies Council. The goals of the realignment are: increased coherence of Sophomore level (SINQ) courses and Jr. Cluster courses; inclusion of courses appropriate for general education requirements; and sufficient capacity within a cluster for students to complete their general education requirements on a timely basis.

The redesign of UNST Clusters is being achieved through the following actions:


Reduction of 400 Level Cluster Courses
