Our Portfolios

University Studies (Portland State's general education program since 1994) has prioritized portfolios as an authentic form of both student learning assessment and program assessment.

The process of creating University Studies' (UNST) portfolio assignments, pedagogical methodologies, and assessment practices is done with and by and group of core faculty in the program, which is interdisciplinary in nature.
