Profile

Regina is an adviser in the Undergraduate Advising and Support Center who specializes on transfer students. As a former transfer and first generation college student, Regina understands how complex the transfer process can be, especially transferring from a community college institution to PSU. "It [PSU] was huge and I was really intimidated. It was hard to find my way around campus." As a student Regina worked in several student affairs offices, including the UASC, and believes that helped her adjust to PSU. Regina also had the opportunity to work as an orientation leader for two summers and loved the interaction with new students and their families and helping them understand PSU and how it operates. Before coming to PSU, Regina worked for two yeas at Clark College in Vancouver, WA as an academic adviser. Regina really enjoys visiting community college students and helping them in their transition to PSU.
