Profile

Peter was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota, where he was a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team. In addition to holding various positions as the team’s President, Treasurer, and Safety/Facilities Coordinator, he also worked for the University of Minnesota’s Recreation Department in three different program areas: Sport Clubs, Facilities, and Intramurals. In 2009, after completing an internship at UCLA in their Competitive Sports Program, Peter moved to Portland and started working for Campus Rec. In his free time, Peter enjoys playing lacrosse, watching football, hiking, sightseeing, going to National Parks, watching movies, and going to concerts. He is an avid sports fan and roots for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Minnesota Gophers.

While working in the field of recreation, Peter has had the opportunity to meet a lot of amazing people and feels blessed to have had his life impacted by them in such a positive and profound way. Peter hopes to have that same impact on the people he meets at PSU.
