Jeanne Ellis is the newest member of the Career Center staff, having stepped into the office's Internship Adviser position in January 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science from Portland State University and has previously worked as a Nonprofit Social Services Program Facilitator, Adviser, and Business Manager. As a natural "connector" and community builder, Jeanne fills two important roles: that of a trusted advocate who can help students make real-world connections based on their interests and strengths and that of a community relationship facilitator who can assist local businesses in creating and filling internships. 

An eclectic mix of sporty, artistic, and adventurous, Jeanne enjoys tennis, cross-country skiing, still water kayaking, and photography. She also recently took up the ukulele.
