FAQ: What is the Student Fee Committee?

Each time a student takes a class, he or she must pay tuition and fees. One of the fees is the Student Incidental Fee.  Annually, the Student Fee totals over $7.6 million.

Fortunately for us, students have a deciding influence for this fee.  The ASPSU Student Fee Committee allocates the student fee on campus as assessed during the tuition process. This is done so in accordance with The Oregon Revised Statutes and the Oregon Administrative Rules. The SFC prepares a detailed budget and submits it to the President of the University for approval.
