This application is due by 11:59 pm, Monday, February 2, 2009 Eastern Standard Time (EST).
When to apply for scholarships
Most scholarship application deadlines are between February and April for awards that begin the following fall term. These dates vary from scholarship to scholarship, so please consult our scholarship database for information on specific scholarships.
Types of scholarships at PSU
The Portland State University Scholarship database offers you many different scholarships using Program Areas as the way to search for those scholarships:
General University Scholarships - general scholarships available to everyone at PSU and include scholarships like the Presidential, Undergraduate Laurels, and more.
Educational Equity Scholarships - includes Diversity Recognition Scholarships.
Departmental Scholarships - Scholarships within your major/minor.
Foundation Scholarships - Ethnic based scholarships housed at the PSU Foundation.
Non-resident Scholarships which include: Out-of-State Scholarships, Washington Resident Scholarship, Western Undergraduate Exchange Scholarship. See General University Scholarships section.
Non-PSU Scholarships - Scholarships from outside the University available to students at many colleges/universities.
Oregon Student Assistant Scholarships (OSAC) - we provide a link to the state based agency housing scholarships for Oregon residents.

Portland State University presents Scholarship Manager, an online scholarship application that encourages you to apply for many university wide scholarships on one application. This year you may apply for scholarships in the following areas using this application: General University Scholarships, School of Business Scholarships, Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science Scholarships, College of Urban and Public Affairs Scholarships, Graduate School of Education Scholarships, and Office of Graduate Studies Scholarships.
