Advising Schedule

Academic advisers are available on a drop-in basis or by appointment to help students with questions about general education, degree and University requirements, and to provide advice to students who are struggling academically or need assistance with choosing a major. For more information and/or to schedule an appointment, please call 503-725-4005. If you have a quick question for an adviser, you may also email askuasc@pdx.edu.

Please come prepared to your advising session and bring with you a current Degree Audit Report (DARS) or any other pertinent materials (including paper and a pen or pencil!)

Note to students who are new to Portland State: If you have not attended a New Student Orientation, please review the following link before meeting with an adviser. Advisers will expect that you have a basic understanding of the PSU graduation requirements. 

Drop-in advising hours for continuing PSU students and new students who have attended New Student Orientation:

Monday-Friday: 10:00am - 3:00pm

Advising is also available at other times by appointment.

Drop-In advising hours will be limited on the following dates due to New Student Orientation and other campus obligations: 

Friday, May 2 - 10:00am - 12:30pm only.

Wednesday, May 28 - 10:00am - 12:30pm only.

Friday, June 20 - 10:00am - 12:30pm only.

The UASC is located in 425 Smith Memorial Student Union at 1825 SW Broadway.
Business Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Wednesday, Thursday 8:00am - 6:00pm
