Transfer students comprise the majority of students who
attend Portland State and the majority of those students
transfer from a community college. This is why PSU works hard with our
community college partners to help students make the transition.
These agreements allow students to be admitted to PSU while
continuing to take classes at their community college. Go to http://www.pdx.edu/admissions/co-admission
for more information.
In addition to Co-Admission agreements, PSU has many other
specialized articulation agreements that specify how particular Associates
degrees as well as individual classes will transfer. The Associates of Arts Oregon Transfer degree
and the Associate of Science Business Transfer degree are statewide agreements
that allow students who have completed these degrees at their community college
to transfer to PSU at Junior standing.
Additionally, PSU has many other specific agreements with
community colleges around the state. These various agreements allow coursework that may not generally
transfer to be accepted into specific programs at PSU. Below is a current list of articulation
agreements. Click on the link for more
information about a specific agreement. If you have questions about an agreement or transferring in general,
please contact the Community College Relations office at 503-725-9546 or cctransfer@pdx.edu
