College Success & ROADS to Success are offered as a 3 or 4 credit course that can be used as an elective towards graduation requirements. College Success is designed to meet the needs of students who are new to college, returning after an absence, academically struggling or feel that additional support would increase their likelihood of success.  ROADS to Success is an early start program for freshman. More information can be found on the ROADS to Success link at the top of this page.

Both College Success and ROADS are offered on an A-F basis and are not an "easy" course. As a class, we will learn academic techniques and skills and identify valuable resources available on campus as well as explore our own personal goals & values and how that relates to major & career choice. Grades are based on papers, weekly reading quizzes, out-of-class assignments, group work and class participation. Much of the class time is devoted to discussion and large-group interaction. In order to ensure a meaningful learning environment, class size is limited to 30 students.
