Neither. The difference is really in the requirements to obtain the Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and is largely based on your preference of coursework. For most majors, you may select either the BA or BS degree. There are exceptions to this rule. For example, the English major and the Art History major only offer the Bachelor of Arts and if you major in any of the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science programs you will be required to complete a Bachelor of Science.
