A 2-week summer Art Program in Korea

September 3- 17, 2014

Led by Una Kim, PSU Art Faculty

Apply by March 31, 2014

 


  • ART 410/510: Art Korea
  • 8 credit hours
  • Temples, museums, lectures, workshops, cultural events, galleries, local markets, palaces, etc.
  • Art exhibition upon returning in January 2015

    This course can be applied as Upper Division electives, or

    • ART 281 – Intro to Painting I
    • ART 230 – Drawing Concepts I
    • ART 391 – Drawing Concepts II
    • ART 392 – Intermediate Painting
    • ART 493 – Advanced Drawing/Mixed Media.

    With the approval of an advisor it can fulfill one of the following:

    • ART 492/592P: Contemporary Studio Practice, OR
    • Graduate credits in the MFA Program
    Open to :
    • Art majors only  (Non-Art majors should consult with instructor, Una Kim, ukim@pdx.edu)
    • Sophomore standing at the time of application
    • GPA: 2.75 and above
