The Business Advisory Council (BAC) serves in an advisory role to the Dean of the School of Business and as an advocate for the school. This is one of many examples of the school's dedication to establishing partnerships with the business community. The council, formed in 1991, has more than 40 board members representing a variety of large, small, local and international companies.

The School of Business would like to welcome the following new members to the BAC:

Jan Eric Barkenaes, VP and Director of Finance of Tektronix

Friedrich Baumann, Senior VP-Aftermarket of Daimler Trucks North America

Trent Green, SVP, Strategic Planning and Business Development of Legacy Health Systems

Elizabeth King, Associate VP for Strategic Partnerships of ESCO

Scott Lewis, CEO of Brightworks

Kathy Prosser, Worldwide Partner of Mercer Health & Benefits

The SBA community is excited to welcome this talented group of Portland business leaders as an addition to the BAC.
