The Department of Theater Arts is normally located in the historic Lincoln Hall, together with the Department of Music and the Dean of Fine & Performing Arts. The department has two theaters in Lincoln Hall, Lincoln Performance Hall and the Studio Theater. Additionally, there are dedicated acting, directing, design, dance and production studios, and scenic, costume, and computer laboratories. The Fine & Performing Arts Media Labs and the university Television Studio located in Neuberger Hall provide additional sites for the realization of student and faculty creative work.

Lincoln Performance Hall
Lincoln Performance Hall, a mixed-use facility seating 476, is one of the best production facilities in the region, with excellent auditorium, stagehouse, and backstage areas, and greenroom and dressing room facilities. The hall features a computerized, multi-preset lighting control system.
Studio Theater
The Studio Theater has an 80-seat capacity and end-stage configuration, with dedicated lobby, dressing rooms, and backstage areas. It is used extensively throughout the year for smaller productions including experimental work and student production projects, juries, guest lectures, and film screenings. The theatre features a computerized, multi-preset lighting control system.
Scenie Laboratory
The Lincoln Hall Scene Shop is located directly adjacent to the Lincoln Performance Hall stage, and a few steps away from the Studio Theater stage.
Costume Laboratory
The Lincoln Hall Costume Shop is one of the most extensive and well equipped facilities for a teaching program of this size in the nation.
