Social Practice MFA alumni Mark Menjivar has just published a new book, The Luck Archive: Exploring Belief, Superstition, and Tradition, with a foreward by Harrell Fletcher. The idea for the book started in an antique bookshop in Fort Wayne, Indiana, when Menjivar found four 4-leaf clovers pressed between the pages of an aged copy of 1000 Facts Worth Knowing. Menjivar was so intrigued that he began an extended exploration into the concept of luck and its intersection with belief, culture, superstition, and tradition in peoples' lives.
