CPID Talks: G Cody QJ Goldberg: "A More Inclusive World, One Playground at a Time"
Father of two, Cody Goldberg is proud to serve as the Executive Director of Harper’s Playground. A big fan of inclusion of all kinds, Cody is committed to creating opportunities for both of his daughters to build friendships and community for themselves. Cody is a graduate of New York University with a BFA in Film & Television Studies. Along with his wife, April, Cody is the co-founder of Harper’s Playground. Together they spearheaded the design, funding, and construction of the first Harper's Playground in Portland, OR. Cody believes that the power of a well designed and realized inclusive play space can truly transform a community for the better. “Life is a party, and everyone should be invited!”
The CPID talks are aimed at fostering a dialogue about interesting work being done that is relevant to the public interest design field, as well as exploring the very nature of public interest design itself, in an informal setting. To that end, these talks will be held in the CPID room and people will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, as space is limited. Faculty members are encouraged to RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All CPID Talks are open to the public and take place from 12pm – 1pm in Shattuck Hall, Room 217 on the PSU campus.
