Center for Public Interest Design receives Campus Innovation award at Elevating Impact Summit

We are proud to announce that PSU’s Center for Public Interest Design received the Campus Innovation award at the Elevating Impact Summit. Held this year at the Gerding Theater on June 20, 2014, this annual event focuses on leadership and entrepreneurship in the area of social innovation, and the Impact Awards highlight the achievements of the creative individuals and organizations who are making social and environmental change in the region and the world.

The evening included inspirational keynote talks and presentation by Kat Taylor, Dr. Victoria Hale and Marc Freedman and 21 additional speakers in the areas of social change, entrepreneurship and innovation.  

The Campus Innovation Award is designed to recognize the achievements of a student, faculty, or staff member from any school who has generated significant positive social and environmental impact through their work. Other award winners from the evening include Sustainable Harvest and Mercy Corps MicroMentor.
