Art History Student Association

Joining in the group's first event for the 2013-14 academic year, eight Art History Student Association members learned about Japanese prints from noted Portland collector Irwin Lavenberg, when they visited The Lavenberg Collection in November along with Professor Sue Taylor.

Mr. Lavenberg co-curated and wrote the didactics for the current "Legendary Samurai" print exhibiton at the Portland Art Museum (through Jan. 12), and has catalogued his extensive collection at: www.myjapanesehanga.com.
