Adjunct Music Instructor
Andrew Willette graduated from the State University of New York Plattsburgh in 1992 with a BA in Music, and received a Master of Music in Choral Conducting degree from Portland State University in 2004.
Willette is an active composer providing original music for a variety of media in the Portland area. A recent endeavor includes a series of 12 piano pieces to accompany the art work of a local Portland artist Michael Southern entitled "The Willamette as a Superfund State".
Willette is currently restoring and cataloging original 19th century band music from the Aurora Colony as part of the Oregon Music Project. The Colony's band music collection is being transribed from hand written parts into conductor's scores and parts will be available for use by free download from The Aurora Colony website.
