Cornell University Professor Emerita Eleanor Jorden, perhaps the best-known Japanese language educator in the world and the author of three textbooks, including Japanese: The Spoken Language, will give a community lecture, “A Forward-Looking Retrospective.” The lecture is sponsored by the Consulate-General of Japan and PSU’s Center for Japanese Studies, with support from the Japan-America Society of Oregon.
