WHAT: Movie Night at the QRC. Part of PSU Pride Week! Swing by the QRC and watch Hedwig and the Angry Inch. The QRC has several couches for your comfort and will provide popcorn and soda for your viewing pleasure! A great chance to check out the QRC in all its glory! Free and open to the public.

Friends of History presents documentary film 'Citizen Tanouye'

WHAT: PSU Friends of History invites the public to observe Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month with the free screening of the 2006 award-winning documentary "Citizen Tanouye."

After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor launched America into World War II, Torrance High School graduate Ted Tanouye left to serve his country as a member of the famous "Go For Broke" 442nd Regimental Combat Team. In Italy, he gave his life in battle, even as his family and countless other Japanese-Americans on the West Coast were relocated to inland  "internment camps."  

Friends of History screens 2009 film 'Young Victoria'

WHAT: Free showing of the 2009 drama "Young Victoria." PSU Friends of History celebrates the 191st anniversary of Queen Victoria of England's birthday with the free screening  of the 2009 award-winning drama "Young Victoria" on May 20 in Cramer Hall Room 494 starting at 7pm.

Queen Victoria reigned over Great Britain  for more than 63 years. She was for the most part, of German descent; the last British monarch from the House of Hanover and 7 Prime Ministers held office during her reign. Director Jean Marc Valle's 2009 film
