Portland State to launch Veteran's Resource Center

Portland State University, whose student body contains a higher proportion of military veterans than any other Oregon university, is launching a Veteran's Resource Center (VRC), a new service for veteran students attending PSU.

Current Students Urged to Connect With PSU Alumni Association

Many people think that Alumni Association's only becomes relevant after they graduate,
however the PSU Alumni Association offers services to current students—even freshmen. Enhancing
services already offered from places like Advising and Career Services, the PSU Alumni
Association connects students to other alumni who are already working in the companies they
may want to work for, holds annual networking events like the student etiquette dinner, and are
a another great resource for everything from career and internship opportunities to courses of
study.

PSU’s student-run radio station wants to be the only college FM radio station in Portland

KPSU will soon become the only college FM radio station in the Portland metro area if students can raise enough money. Currently only accessible on campus or online, the student-run radio station wants to apply for an FM signal becoming available to non-profits.

PSU, Chinook Book launch first university sustainable living mobile app

Portland State University and Celilo Group Media’s Chinook Book have launched an exciting mobile app that is available for free to some 33,000 PSU students, faculty and staff. The first of its kind, the app includes money-saving coupons for sustainable products and services that students love as well as student resources for green campus living.

Portland State University recognized its outstanding student employees April 11 at an annual awards ceremony in Smith Memorial Student Union.

Portland State University student Danielle Grondin has been named Oregon student employee of the year by the Western Association of Student Employment Administrators. The statewide award was announced April 11 at a student employee celebration at the Smith Memorial Student Union.
