This chapter, as an unpublished paper, was previously awarded the 2007 Shingo Award for Excellence in Manufacturing Research.

Dan Rogers presents at Eastern Finance Association meeting

Dan Rogers, Business faculty, presented "Repurchases, Employee Stock Option Grants, and Hedging" at the Eastern Finance Association Annual Meeting in New Orleans in April. Rogers also served as track chair for the corporate finance sessions and was a panelist on a special session titled "Enterprise Risk Management."

Darrell Brown and Scott Marshall win best paper award

Darrell Brown, Scott Marshall, Business faculty, and another co-author were awarded the Past President's Best Paper Award at the annual meeting of the Western Academy of Management meetings in Missoula, Mont., March 23. The award was for their paper "Institutional Investors, Board Composition, and the Quality of Voluntary Environmental Disclosure." Brown also presented this paper at the conference.
