Professor Ben Cushing will invite participants into a process of critiquing the atomized self—the product of multiple racialist, gendered, classed, and human/non-human fissures. How do we decolonize the self, the land, and the relationships between indigenous and non-indigenous communities? How do we build human and inter-species communities grounded in healing and reciprocity?
Grace Dillon, Indigenous Nations Studies faculty, authored a new book, Walking the Clouds: An Anthology of Indigenous Science Fiction, published by University of Arizona Press, 2012.
