Portland State students, alumni, faculty, staff, friends and community are invited to the University's spring Tweetup and Roots Festival Fair on Thursday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Smith Union Ballroom.
The free event includes music, games, photo booth, prizes, bouncy boxing ring, performances, booths and more. As part of this year's Roots Festival, which celebrates diversity, the PSU Tweetup brings together the University's online community from social networks like Facebook and Instagram every quarter for an opportunity to meet in real person and connect.Â
Cynthia Gomez, Diversity and Multicultural Student Services, has been appointed by Governor John Kitzhaber to the Oregon Commission on Hispanic Affairs. The Oregon Senate has approved her appointment.
International Night celebrates the international diversity at Portland State University and offers a great opportunity for the PSU students a, families, faculty, staff and the greater Portland community to experience the different traditional costumes, food and music! Over 800 people attend this large event that includes students from over 88 countries and covers three floors of the Smith Memorial Student Union Building!
