Phyllis Edmundson, dean of the Graduate School of Education (GSE) for the past seven years, has announced her retirement, effective August 31, 2005. Carol L. Mack, currently the associate dean in the GSE, has been named as the interim dean until a search is completed.

Included in this year’s graduating class are Miss America 2002 Katie Harman Ebner, PSU President Daniel Bernstine’s son Justin Bernstine, and Susie Petrie, daughter of former NBA Portland Trail Blazer Geoff Petrie.

Broadway). Potter will speak on PSU's partnerships with the community and provost appointee Roy Koch will confer the awards.
